For anyone wanting a unique, quite, and astonishingly beautiful little slice of heaven - we couldn't recommend a better experience than to stay at the Suite in Eze Village. It is spacious, well appointed, and clean. And the location can't be described as anything less than perfect. We enjoyed three days - a prefect capstone for our two weeks in Europe.

The Suite at Eze Village is a little piece of heaven not to be missed! It is an ideal romantic getaway or if traveling on your own, a truly soul enriching experience. Fred and Sylviane are the perfect hosts, happy to share this paradise with all. It has the most perfect location in the heart of Eze Village within 2 minute walking distance of all shops and restaurants. The cherry on top though is the terrace with its incredible view. Sundowners took on a whole new meaning from this spot on top of the world. For that alone, I will return. Thank you once again for this memorable experience!

Most unique suite Ever
I am not much for leaving reviews online, but after staying at Fred & Sylviane's "in-village suite" I felt compelled to. My wife and I are pretty well traveled and we have stayed at many 5 star resorts and hotels around the world, but nothing could compare to this experience.

Hubby and I stayed a couple of nights in “La Suite”, which is a gorgeous (very old and character filled) townhouse style apartment situated in the heart of the village of Èze Wow!!! We'd stayed in some amazing places throughout Provence before arriving in Èze, and I was particularly looking forward to "La Suite" because of it's unique differences. I love old buildings, I love the ambiance and charm and the history...our host told us that the ground floor used to house the farm animals with the family living above (way back in the day...) It is a beautifully cosy place in a wonderful position in the town. We loved walking through the old streets and browsing the shops, and choosing restaurants. The garden at the top of Èze is a must see for the magnificent views. But just as great a view can be seen from the balcony of "La Suite" - your own private balcony where we often sat and relaxed in the sun, glass of rosé in hand, watching the boats sail by and pondering just how lucky we were to be in such a glorious place.
Finally, we really appreciated the service from our hosts, from meeting us as we arrived by taxi and helping us carry our bags to "La Suite", the delicious breakfast, some local advice and recommendations, and then arranging a driver to take us to the airport when we sadly had to depart.
Èze is now embedded in our hearts and minds and we know we will return one day, and "La Suite" will be the place we choose once again. Thank you!

Eze village is only a short bus ride from Nice and is a magnet for tourists but this 16th century house is a haven of peace and tranquillity with a view from the rooftop terrace that could not be equalled. Our hosts were attentive but discreet, the house had everything we could ask for and within 5 minutes walk were a supermarket and a range of restaurants.

This place is beyond comprehension! First, you are staying in a medieval village, in a medieval house. Yes, you actually are staying in a place where families used to live for hundreds of years. The suite has the medieval character, but is equipped with anything modern you can imagine. A stairway leads to the roof top terrace. Now hold your breath! What you see from there is beyond description. Just google this place and look at the pictures. It’s all true: you are sitting on top of the roof of a house on top of a medieval village, on top of a hill several hundred meters above the Cote d’Azur. Unbelievable! Oh yes, in all this you forget that everything is taken care of (including breakfast being served in your suite), and perfectly prepared and organized for you. Just call Sylviane or Fred, the owners, ask, and it will be done. I have nothing but awe and delight to convey to you.

The hosts did everything possible to make our stay as carefree and comfortable as possible. The village is absolutely charming and La Suite itself is an old house with lots of character, renovated to a high standard with a breathtaking view from the roof over the Mediterranean. Definitely get the daily breakfast delivery of fresh croissants, fruits, yoghurt and coffee - deliciously great value!

We stayed in the "Suite". Absolutely fantastic. We felt somewhat superior to the residents at the "Chevre D'Or being as we we literally looked down on their suites! Oh, and the cost (a minor point I know!) was considerably less than our esteemed friends at the Chevre D'Or. Sylviane & Fred are wonderful hosts. They leave you alone but are availble if needed. Wonderful hearty breakfasts served early by Fred await your arrival downstairs.
The Bastide is a wonder! It's such a secret that I'm reluctant to share it with you, however Sylviane & Fred desesrve the business.

This romantic and historic home exceeded all expectations. Fred and his wife have carefully crafted a charming suite with all of the convenience and luxury of a fine hotel. The house is well-appointed with a refrigerator, lock box and high-end bathroom fixtures, including a large bathtub. Not only is the home serenely situated within the charming medieval village of Eze, but the intimate roof terrace provides a breathtaking view of the Côte d'Azur that exceeds the famous Chèvre D'or (which is conventiently around the corner). We enjoyed getting pizza à emporter (to go) from the nearby La Taverne and watching the sun set from this special place. The hosts' attention to detail shines through in numerous ways and made this an unique and charming part of our travels.

The Suite at Eze Village is truly heaven on earth. My husband visited Eze about a decade ago, and swore he would come back and take me to see this magical place on the French Riviera. Photos do not do it justice and words really cannot describe the incredible setting and feel of Eze village. To be able to spend a night there is a dream come true, and Fred and Sylvia and make sure that we had the most incredible experience. We were greeted below the village by Fred who followed us up and walked us to the suite, where he showed us through the two main levels, and then up to the small rooftop terrace with the commanding view of the French Riviera. My husband and I enjoyed champagne while watching the sunset, and then had our coffee up there to watch the sunrise. The only faults we have was with ourselves only allowing such a short visit, as I could spend weeks there. We'd like to be selfish and not recommend this place so we know it would be there for us again, but alas we must share it with everyone.

Heaven On Earth
Out of the four hotels we stayed in our 18 day trip, this is the only hotel I could give an excellent to. We checked into the suite in Eze Village. It is very charming and right in the middle of the village. There is a nice living area on one floor, a bedroom and bath on the second floor, and the cherry on top was the rooftop sitting area. My husband and I spent more time there than in the living room. The views are magnificent looking all the way to St. Tropez, Villefranche sur Mer, and St. Jean Cap Ferrat. We did not want to leave so instead of visiting other villages we had planned to see, we cancelled our plans and stayed in Eze Village in our "heaven on earth" suite.

Sono stata purtroppo solo 3 giorni in questa splendida casa situata nelle viette di Eze.E' la dependance del hotel bastide.casa a due piani arredata benissimo,curata nei minimi particolari.dal secondo piano tramite una scaletta si accede ad un balcone sul tutto da cui si gode un panorama incommensurabile,fantastico.La vasca da bagno è illuminata,molto romantico fare il bagno di sera.sono stati gentilissimi.vorrei tornare
